Love this show, especially the second set. He's Gone is nice though you haven't mentioned it in your highlights. The previous night is pretty special as well.

That's one of the few reasons that it is nice not to be "musically educated": ignorance is bliss. I hear no sloppiness. Just Phil thumping along in LIG.

even as a musician - sloppy ass means NOTHING to me in regard to this music. If anything "sloppy ass" means it is the real thing not the prefabbed BS that you hear when you go to see overly produced and practiced to death "live" performances...ie most of the Dead cover bands I've heard. Kind of like prozac - in order to remove the lows, all highs are also sacrificed. Flat line.

This is one of only three or four shows I missed during my touring time that I seriously regret missing. Magic by the truckload!
